Cover Shoot: George Lopez

In July I had the opportunity photograph portraits of comedian George Lopez at Milk Studios in Los Angeles for a Brain & Life Magazine cover story. We had about an hour to photograph three portrait setups with one wardrobe change. One blue background setup with two large Photek umbrellas. One as fill and one as a kicker to create some contrast. And for the other setups we used a single beautydish and some v-flats as a background using the white and the black side. Everything was rigged up in warp speed by assistant extraordinaire Trever Gens. Styling was done by Michelle Brookhurst making sure we had hats and wardrobe options galore for George.
